WeUnite: Connecting Rails with Azure
This project provided us with a unique challenge of building a Service fronted by Rails coupled with a Microsoft MSSQL database hosted on the Azure Cloud. We architected the entire solution including the database. WeUnite is a unique project with a distributed development environment involving people with different skill sets. Our role included responsibility for planning and coordination of the development plan with virtual teams operating in different geographies.

REI Matcher
REI matcher endeavours to be the best real estate site for investors by exploiting bleeding edge web technologies and solutions available in the market today.
We were brought in to replace a floundering team which created a non-scalable application in an older version of rails.
We mapped out the errors and put in a performance analysis and reporting framework, and placed a process for Agile development using Unfuddle for project management and reporting. We also deployed GIT for version control. Since the application was live, we instituted a continuous deployment practice devised methods to continuously update the UI, UX and feature-set without getting the site down. We also migrated the existing framework to rails 2.3 to provide greater stability to the site and keep it in tune with time.

Allthat is a Web application for a “better Wish List”.The site enables a user both to search the Web for an item and build Wish List at the same time. We integrated search into the application. Every time a user adds something to her/her lists, the application will look across the Internet for the best price on that item. During the implementation of the application we added enhancements to the wish lists workflows. We also added enhancements to the application’s JavaScript engine to enable a smooth user experience.

onavo
Onova’s app is available in the app store. Once you download the app, Onavo installs a configuration profile (which includes your operator’s APN settings) on your device so that data you receive from the Internet is streamed through Onavo's cloud-based compression service, which is located in datacenters operated by Amazon Web Services. Onavo provides control over what is compressed and when and can save the users lots of storage use. The High on Rails Team redesigned their allready existing website.

(Radiant CMS implementation & integration) The Rails team provided consultancy and development services to choctawnation. The client needed an open source content management solution which would create efficiencies in terms of content uploading, content storing and also remove him for Vendor lockin. Azri used Radiant CMS as a solution to the client.
Qwartapadala
QwartaPadala is an online money transfer service that can be used for sending money to the Philippines. Basically it works as follows: a user can register for a free account, add some funds to it and send the money home. We partnered with this funded start-up and took care of the Development Support. Being part of of distributed team we mainly needed to improve the site performance & to speed to up the development. We worked on site optimizations which includes n+1 query optimizations, CSS sprites, resources compression, CDN (Content Delivery Network) using Amazon Cloud front. We have also implemented transaction reports generation, alternate emails for user account, i18n(Internationalization), User Time Zones.
